On the 4th of May 2016 is again International Day Against DRM. This is why I give discounts on my books at LeanPub from the 1st May 2016 to the 5th May 2016.

You can read more about the cause here.

The Adapter Design Pattern

In this article I’ll introduce the Adapter Design Pattern and how you can use it in Java. This pattern is mostly used to enable loosely-coupling of plugins into applications (for example the way Eclipse does this).

The full article can be found here: http://javabeginnerstutorial.com/design-pattern/adapter-design-pattern-example-in-java/

Happy learning!

Craft Conference 2016

This year I’ll go again to the Craft Conference in Budapest. This conference is all about software craftmanship with workshops and sessions — just like any of your conferences.

You can look at the programme here.

I suggest if you have time and are interested in the topics come along and enjoy some days in Budapest! And there is the opportunity to meet me there 😉

Naturally after I am back I’ll write a summary about my workshops and the conference itself.
